Pynk Prysm is a collective made up of Natasha Gravia-Lund and Jasmine De Silva

Our Story

Natasha: We met in 2018 when Jasmine instagram stalked me.

Jasmine: Only because you had recently shaved your head! I needed a model for my film.

Natasha: She’s obsessed with me.

Jasmine: Hey! It worked out for you didn’t it? You got to write your first short film.

Natasha: You’re welcome for all those awards by the way.

Jasmine: But there were none for you Gretchen Wieners

Natasha: Well I am glad you stalked me even though I was terrified of being kidnaped when we first met up. I realized how much I wanted to write and direct as well, plus I found my best friend.

Jasmine: I’m so glad I’m your inspiration. Honestly though, now that we’ve spent the last three years writing nonstop and tackling some big projects I’m glad I found a bizniss partner in crime.

Natasha: I’m glad your cyber crimes were not in vain.

Our Mission

Through our films we strive to hyperbolise and magnify how society’s oppressive structures affect our human psyche and our relationships to each other. We aim to expose how a great deal of our anxiety, depression, self hatred, and prejudice stem from industries that inflict these feelings onto us in order to profit from them. By making absurd and fantastical films we will separate the viewer enough from the subject that they will see the bizarre nature of many of our practices and beliefs. While remaining relatable enough so that audiences can empathize with our characters. We truly believe that art can play a huge part in the deconstruction of our harmful behaviors as individuals and as a society, and Pynk Prysm hopes to do its part in helping our society move towards a more liberated future.

Our collective wants to facilitate creative adventures through hosting events, screenings, immersive experiences and talks to encourage other artists with a similar mission to share their work and create community. These events will remain with the focus of finding solutions for us to connect, evolve, and heal.
